This time, we'll be discussing a short story for a change: "The Quiet House," by Tessa Hadley (in the February 2 issue of the New Yorker). I haven't read the story yet, but Hadley is a great writer (and it's only 6 pages long, so you'll be able to squeeze it into your busy schedule).
