Ioanna Paraskevopoulos is the Director of Development and External Relations at the American Sign Museum. She is a co-founder of Action Tank, a think tank that partners with artists to research and promote new public policy solutions at the local government level. She served previously as Chief of Staff to former Vice-Mayor David Mann and worked for seven years at the U.S. Department of State, most recently as Senior Congressional Affairs and Human Rights Officer.

Ioanna will talk about the connections between her various careers, and about how to use the arts to teach people to engage with local government and make change in their community.

Drinks and lite bites will be served. Friends of all genders are welcome!
