We will welcome to our Annual Shore Dinner dinner our own Ty Moore as he concludes his year of service to Harvard as President of the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) and share with us his definition of real community. How did this powerful concept motivate Tracy “Ty” Moore II AB ‘06 to immerse himself in volunteer service for Harvard?  Learn about the pivotal role real community played not only in Ty's personal evolution, but also in his tenure as President of the HAA.  Join us as Ty demystifies the role of HAA President and discusses his interesting experience during a challenging period in Harvard's history.

Since serving as First Class Marshal his senior year, Tracy "Ty" Moore II President of the Harvard Alumni Association has made it a priority to be actively engaged in the Harvard alumni community.  After returning to his hometown in 2006, Ty became involved in the Harvard Club of Cincinnati, shortly thereafter joining the board and becoming an alumni interviewer.  In 2015, he began his service on the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) Board of Directors as an Elected Director.  Ty has been on the board ever since and currently serves as President of the HAA.

Professionally, Ty is an impact-driven, serial entrepreneur and co-founder of VeraVis (pronounced ver-a-VEES), a leadership development and executive coaching firm.  Previously, he co-founded and led multiple for-profit and nonprofit ventures, including two nationally-recognized tech startups.

Ty graduated cum laude with an A.B. in Classics in 2006.
