Tabla is the most famous percussion instrument of North India. It is most commonly used in North Indian classical music, but its versatility in all musical styles has enabled it to become the most popular percussion instrument in all of India.

From our President: A big thank you to everyone who makes our club a vibrant and successful force in our community!  A special thank you to the board officers, board directors and members for doing such an amazing job conceptualizing and putting together slates of events year after year that are thought provoking, timely, important and fun.  Thank you for your membership in the club.  Without you, nothing is possible.  I encourage all members to think about joining the board at some point to get more intimately involved with the inner workings of our events and share your creativity. We are actively looking for members to serve as officers and board members.  As always, please continue to stay engaged with us, sharing your ideas and thoughts.  Please encourage others you know with Harvard affiliations to join the club.  Strength is in numbers and will allow us to stand even taller as a force for good in our community.
We are privileged to have attended Harvard and its various colleges where we formed deep roots with the amazing people we encountered. We are fortunate for the opportunities and encouragement it gave us, nurturing us to spread our sincere desire to learn constantly, keep our minds and hearts open, learn to analyze with knowledge and strengthen our innate intuition.  Above all, it gave us the power to shine our compassion and do good wherever we go, uplift the world, take care of our Earth and its diversity, and serve in our local community and our greater community.  Sharing some laughs, moments of enlightenment, food and drinks and relishing in good company are invaluable, and this is what the Harvard Club of Cincinnati allows us to do.
