HLSA Fall Luncheon

You are cordially invited to the Fall Luncheon of our Harvard Law Club. Our speaker will be Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney. Jan-Michele will comment upon her newspaper, The Cincinnati Herald, which is noted for providing “News you can’t get anywhere else.” The luncheon is Friday, October 13, 2017, at Noon, at The University Club of Cincinnati, located at 401 East Fourth Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202.
Jan-Michele graduated with a degree in Psychology from Dartmouth College. And, she received a Master’s degree in Counseling and Consulting Psychology from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education in 1979. Jan-Michele is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sesh Communications, which publishes, in addition to The Cincinnati Herald, The Dayton Defender, The Northern Kentucky Herald, and Sesh Prime. And, Jan-Michele is also the hostess of a weekly, over-the-air television program entitled ISSUES, in which she discusses important topics of the day with those within the Greater Cincinnati region. ISSUES is broadcast by WLWT Channel 5 in Cincinnati.

OUR SPRING LUNCHEON SPEAKER WILL BE
THOMAS R. SCHUCK, J.D. ’76
Tom Schuck, a Partner with Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP in its Cincinnati office, will share his views on the law at our Spring Luncheon. Tom practices Federal Litigation, with an emphasis on Environmental Law and Creditor Rights. Tom attended college at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. And, Tom received his Master’s degree in English and American Literature from the British University of Kent at Canterbury before entering the law school. Among many honors, Tom has been the President of the Federal Bar Association, which is a national membership organization for Federal Court litigators and judges, and it is devoted to strengthening the federal legal system and the administration of justice in America. Tom has also been the President of the Federal Bar Association’s local chapter in our area, the John W. Peck Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Chapter. Tom is included within next year’s 2018 edition of Best Lawyers in America, in which he is noted as one of the nation’s top practitioners of Commercial Litigation. And, very importantly for us, Tom has been the President of our Harvard Club of Cincinnati.
