At Noon on February 27, 2015. Retired Administrative Law Judge Honorable Gilbert Sheard will lead a session of the Discussion Group on the topic of the role and realities of federal Administrative Law Judges after serving as one for 22 years with Social Security Administration appeals. Judge Sheard received his bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and his law degree from Harvard. Blank Rome LLP, 201 East Fifth Street, 17th Floor.

At Noon, March 27, 2015, City of Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley will speak at a formal luncheon of the HLSA. The Mayor received his bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University, his law degree from Harvard and a master’s from the Harvard Divinity School. This will be a luncheon event at The University Club, 401 E. 4th St., 45202

At Noon,  April 24, 2015, Retired Diplomat and Foreign Service Officer Tom Longo will lead the Discussion Group in a talk about American diplomacy and the U.S. Foreign Service. Tom graduated from the Boston Latin School, Harvard College, and the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies with a master’s degree in International Relations.
