We are all being asked to step up and display real leadership during these interesting times. Since, as a Harvard alum, you are viewed as a leader by most members of society, you have the opportunity to play a major leadership role right now by serving as an ally against racism. You’re probably wondering:
How can I serve as an ally?
What actions can I take to make a meaningful impact to advance equity and justice for black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC)?
How can I sustain my engagement for more than just a few weeks?
The Harvard Club of Cincinnati invites you to Allyship: Leadership by Another Name, an illuminating presentation and interactive experience that will answer all of the above questions and more, while empowering you to be an excellent ally.
Ty Moore (AB ‘06) and Rebecca Wilson of VeraVis, along with HCC 2nd VP Elise Foster (EdM ‘06) of Leadership Potential Consulting, will guide you and the other attendees through a dynamic presentation and discussion to deepen your capacity to connect, advocate, and operate as trailblazing allies.
As Harvard alumni, we have a responsibility to be leaders in our respective communities. We have a role to play in creating a more just and equitable society.
If you want to heighten your understanding of how you can become a more conscientious and impactful ally, as well as how you can take meaningful action to advance equity and justice for BIPOC, this event is a great place to start!
Please note: registration is required and space is limited. After you register, you will not receive a Zoom link immediately. The private Zoom link to the virtual meeting & presentation will be emailed to you on Monday, October 12th.
